FLW - BRADLEY HOUSE SKYLIGHT, C/8 Coonley Left Panel Illinois (1913 -1914)In Wrights early houses he included interior overhead skylights. Wright referred to them as toplights. Using natural color glass placed in lead lined panels, they were placed in specific locations in the house to provide ambiance and gently light a room. The elongated geometric patterns designed for the B. Harley Bradley House are some of the most sophisticated he ever created. Six alternating panels were originally placed above the dining table area
