Antique Spode Copeland Canton Chinoiserie Platter Clobbered Aesthetic Brown Transferware wicker handled biscuit crock I believe this is aHere is a magnificent Aesthetic transferware platter by Spode Copeland in the Canton pattern. The impressed stamp on the back dates to 1879 1880. Enamel highlights are enamel painted ( clobbered ) over the glaze in chartreuse green, rust, Robin's egg blue, turquoise and mauve with a peachy gold lustre over part of the scene. Measures Appx 9 x 7 Condition: no chips or cracks. Minor wear to the enamel Impressed: Copeland (arched) over B and N over 79
