Victorian Ivy Leaf "Mother & Father" Locket italian The stone comes fully certifiedDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 Charming antique oval locket with ivy leaf motif borders around a central (flaming?) heart. It's double fronted, with the two hearts engraved with "My Mother" and "My Father". The Victorians created a secret "language of flowers" whereby different flowers and plants were infused with symbolic meaning. Ivy, in this instance, signified "I cling to thee" affection, friendship, fidelity particularly poignant given the dual
