Victorian Butterfly Wing "Ballerina" Pendant italian The letter "X" is usedDATE: Victorian, c. 1890 A gorgeous antique pendant, featuring an enamelled ballerina. The dancers dress has fantastic colour palette, made from a butterfly wing. With intense shimmering blues and greens, swirls of the wing surround her, catching the light and creating great movement, as she dances. The piece itself is of a good size, and is encased within a 9k gold oval setting, with pretty detailed edges. Dates from the Victorian period, circa 1890.
