Mid Victorian Pavé Turquoise Falcon Brooch shakudo At the parsonageDATE: Victorian, c. 1860 A stunning mid Victorian bird brooch, seemingly some sort of falcon hawk raptor possibly a sparrowhawk or red kite? It's beautifully made, fully pav set with turquoise cabochons, and of 3D construction with feather detail and ruby eyes posed as if mantling its prey. Crafted in 9 karat gold with stones set in silver, it was hand made in England circa 1860 and features a loop allowing for wear as a pendant. STONES Turquoise &
