Mike "Nuf Ced" McGreevy was a Red Sox fan even before they were the Red Sox. He owned the 3rd Base Saloon near the the new Huntington Avenue ballpark, home to the Boston Americans, and he led his Royal Rooters at every game, placed ads on the scorecards and programs that read: McGreevy on the Avenue Nuf Ced, and even bought ad space
