Annelies Koch's design was inspired by a recent hike to Aoraki's Mueller Hut in New Zealands South Island. I hiked to Mueller Hut on the Sealy Range, overlooking Sealy Tarns and adjacent to Aoraki Mt Cook. As there was no room in the hut, I pitched my tent and sat back to enjoy the spectacular views. This is the first place I had seen keas in their natural alpine environment, aside from in the car park at
