It has a fruit motif with cherries on one side and plums on the other. The plate has a peach. This would be nice in the kitchen with toothpicks or matches. The plate can be used as a trinket dish, ashtray, waste plate (for spent matches) etc. It is very striking (pun intended ). I believe this was made as a cigarette holder, but it's a wonderful size thats perfect
