It can be planted in soil or in a bog. Ginger comes in a large number of varieties with various colors of leaf and flower. Call ahead for availability. These are in a 8" tall or 8" wide short pot. Most bog plants can be kept in a pot in shallow water with occasional fertilization, but do much better in an up flow bog
