Plasschaert born in New Ulm, Minnesota in 1941. Because he was from a military family they were constantly on the move. Mr. Plasschaert spent his childhood years in Red Bank, New Jersey, and in various parts of the Deep South. For several years he held a series of odd jobs, all of which were art related. During this period of life, he married Mary
