Print) UG Awesome example of a vintageOriginal Cannes Film Festival program for Mike Leigh's dark masterpiece 'Naked' (1993) The film follows Johnny a damaged intellectual drifter who flees Manchester to find an ex girlfriend in London. Once there, he seduces her flatmate and embarks on a nihilistic odyssey wandering the city, undulging in whatever he pleases. It's a bleak and claustrophobic view of 90s England, with a tense score and lots of visual nods to Hitchcock and film noir.
