although most of the paint has work=n off over the last century
It is still an impressive fossil having been found on the seabed in the North sea
There is only one hole in the bottom of the egg through which the contents must have been removed and this was roughly chipped out as can be seen from the photo

Judging by the brass fittings etc, this is a nice early example dating to late 19th or early 20th Century. Given the age of this item it is still in remarkably good condition. The model is of the larynx and the top of the trachea. The model splits open to show vocal cords, muscles cartilage, veins and nerves. There are still a lot of very small numbered stickers on the model which
