Antique 18th Century Georgian Paneled Lift up Lid Oak Mule Chest Coffer 1760 Decorative Arts He died in Paris inA good antique Georgian paneled oak coffer mule chest, circa 1760. The lift up lid with a thumb molded edge, the top locks and there is the original brass oval escutcheon to the front of the chest with three arched panels below. The lift up lid encloses a generous amount of clean and aroma free storage, the base of the chest is fitted with two drawers, each with twin brass bale handles and oval brass lock escutcheons.
