we’ve found this hybrid to exhibit the clawed peristome of hamata and hold a large number of pitchers at a given time

The hamata used is the Tambusisi form which has the darkest and most sinister teeth of any Nepenthes

these all achieve the squat proportions at maturity that many deem desirable

It does produce larger more colorful pitchers when kept on the cool side

This clone comes from Borneo Exotics, BE 3745 and is a cross between Nepenthes spectabilis Giant and the red form of Nepenthes ventricosa. Its a very robust cross that is tolerant of a wide range of conditions which puts out an abundance of rosettes and colorful pitchers.. Weve found this to make a great windowsill plant as well since it inherits the thick, hardy leaves from ventricosa. This product is considered a
