The blanket is, of course, first and foremost, warm and comfortable, but they are much more than that. They are a three layer quilted sandwich made from two outer layers of a tough fire resistant fabric with a fibre "wadding" filling which increases the bulk of the blanket. The result is a blanket that cannot be used as a ligature because it is too bulky and cannot be
