Many of my themes already explored the stages of one's life in a spiral motion so when I came across the integral world it felt only natural to tackle the ambitious task of translating the stages of development and quadrants into a painting

When we take a step back from our life, from our habits, from everything that we identify with, we may experience a sense of instability. At first it is destabilizing but after revisiting this state again and again it becomes more familiar, 'understood' and integrated and an indescribable spaciousness arises and feels like our "point of origin". The colours of
