The full collar measures 38 cm in length
a common technique during the early 19th century used to enhance the sparkle of the stones under candlelight
the discs carry on around the band which is hallmarked for London 1973 with the makers mark "DAS"
The stones are set in silver with new 18ct gold bands

There are approximately 5 carats of diamonds in this piece in total. The centre stone measures 80 points and the diamonds are approximately I J colour, VS clarity. The back has evidence of a removable brooch pin as the screw holes are still evident so it may have been part of a tiara or large parure. Circa 1860 70. The pendant is 2cm in diameter and the later added bale
