The central brilliant cut is approximately 30 points and surrounded by princess cuts with a border of brilliant cuts on the outside

Inspired by treasures found in ancient Etruscan tombs

with a worn black enamel shank that reads "M Horsley ob Jan 1764 ae 63"

there is also a small loop at the top of the brooch which could be used to wear as a pendant
