Growing method: Sow in the garden in April or early May (as soon as the soil can be prepared in early spring). Sow approximately 2 seeds per hole spaced 2. 5 cm apart in the row (5 cm wide strip). For large sized shallots, thin out 7 to 8 cm on the row.
