It is slotted to allow dirty solution into the vacuum recovery chamber. When combined with the rear squeegee, your auto scrubber will leave floors dry to the touch after the squeegee assembly has passed over it. If floors are not dry after the squeegee assembly has passed over it, it is time to replace your squeegee blades, or
