Antique 19th Century Monumental Giltwood Overmantel Full Length Pier Mirror 1860 Sold as a HuguenotA monumental antique American giltwood overmantle full length mirror, New York, Circa 1860. This exquisite mirror having a stepped ogee crown flanked with a crenelated border, below is a floral panel in relief with tri color gilding and two further such friezes below with garlands of flowers and leaves. The sides of the mirror with ribbed pilasters topped with Corinthian capitals and the base of the columns terminating with reverse corbel brackets
