Visiting and spending time in cemeteries is one of my favorite pastimes. Visiting many of New Orleans cemeteries is a must do. Because of the state of the ground and often damp, flooded & hot terrain, bodies are buried above ground. Because of this, cemeteries look like miniature cities. They are gorgeous, haunting & the air feels full of mystery, stories & whispers.
