Victorian Scarab Ring Jade Circa 1900A Victorian ring set with a faience scarab with hieroglyphs on the flat underside of the scarab, handcrafted in 18ct gold. The scarab symbolises birth, life, death and resurrection. The sun was believed to die each night and be reborn as a beetle.
