The first is to stop the saddle from slipping back too far, secondly to provide the rider with a grab strap when necessary and finally to provide an anchor point for a running attachment. As the owner of Nunn Finer and as an active competitor, I dont always like throwing on a full breastplate but enjoy the easy adjustment and added security of a yoke like this one.
