The female veitchii used was a lowland clone from Sungai Samba while the male parent is the famous MT burbidgeae x edwardsiana/villosa

The two are extremely similar except for the pulcachense having a revolute ptyxis while those of villenaorum are involute

This one has a bullate texture and becomes bright silver in low light
