French "Que Hier Que Demain" Ring Gold with chequerboard decoration on theA beautifully romantic French ring from the 1960s, crafted in 18ct gold and imbued with deep sentiment. At its centre, a delicate plus symbol is set with a shimmering rose cut diamond, followed by the engraved words "que hier" (than yesterday). Next, a minus symbol adorned with two vibrant rubies precedes the words "que demain" (than tomorrow). The phrase comes from the 1889 poem Lternelle chanson, or The Eternal Song, by Rosemonde Grard.
