Small Oval Tohono O'odham Basket Chiltepin diverse and sustainable worldThis handwoven Tohono O'odham oval basket is by Lilian Flores and measures approximately 6 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 2 inches high. Plant materials are hand gathered from the Sonoran Desert for basket weaving. The interior green coils (warp) are native Beargrass and the white stitches (weft) woven around the coils are sun bleached Soaptree Yucca. Keep away from sunlight to maintain color variations.
