The Maori name is Kowhai ngutukaka, which means Kowhai mouthed parrot. Lovely soft leaves, with creamy parrot beak shaped flowers in clusters borne in late winter through spring. We have just a few of these available and when they're gone, they're gone. Grows to 2. 5 metres tall and 1. 5 metres wide and will tolerate some shade but grows best in full sun.
