This brooch could also be used as a pendant using the circular loop at the top of the brooch. The anchor is a symbol of steadfastness and hope. The symbol is directly correlated to the anchor of a ship stopping it from drifting into danger. Circa 1870. Measurements: 3. 85cm high x 2. 2cm wide at the widest point
