The whole slice measures 24cm x 12cm at the widest points

They have a few fold marks and small stains here and there but are generally in very good condition considering that they are over 50 years old

The whole thing has been painted with what looks to be red ochre with two black rectangles on opposite sides

The beak sheaths (rhamphotheca) have been preserved and mounted on the skull

It has a nice colour and is a really tactile object

The colour and stringing of the bones indicate that these were probably prepared in the first half of the 20th Century. Overall, they are in very good condition with the thread being intact and good condition. The hand and foot are both complete with all the bones present and intact. These were part of a collection
