Plants grow to make a bushy, upright mound of green foliage, with stems that are stained red in colour as they emerge and then turn green that bear showy clusters of fuchsia like flowers beginning sometimes as early as spring and continuing into autumn. This plant whilst very attractive is an enthusiastic grower and spreads by suckering so
