Techniweld 309L 1/16”x36” 10lb Pkg Tig Rod SVC Arbor size: 1 inchMinimal carbon not greater than . 02% to protect against corosion. Ideal for buttered passes and overlay work. Typically used to weld 309 series stainless steels. Has the same qualities as ER309 but with the lower carbon content deemed necessary in many chemical applications. Preferred over ER309 for cladding over carbon or low alloy steels, or dissimilar joints that are heat treated.
