They appear to be unworn so my guess is that two pairs swapped mates in a stockroom

Sleeves are sort of an elongated leg of mutton with snaps at the wrist

Purse is in good/fair

1940s Ruffle Trim Dress with Mesh Neckline bracelet fabric has no stretch1940 black rayon crepe dress with a mesh yoke studded with clear stones. Bodice has a sweetheart neckline and 3 4 length sleeves. The mesh yoke closes at back with hooks and eyes and there is a side metal zipper. Neckline and hem have ruffled trim. There is a curved V shaped waist seam and the skirt flares toward the hem. Dress is in very nice condition with a few flaws to the mesh portion. There are two areas at the back shoulder area with visible
