50's Block Print Spring Coat retired teenager Waistband 29/30”This custom made coat is one of a kind, and totally unique in more ways than one. It was made in the 1950s, and features a Mughal print, with a tiny, stylized floral motif (buti). Indian block prints have always fascinated me; they're so magical and deeply steeped in centuries old tradition. This one has a lovely magenta background, with indigo block print flowers, and pops of brighter pink and orange. The fabric is a heavyweight cotton silk blend,
