The body is made on an angle, so that the dress twists around the body and gathers to one side at the hem. The low dolman sleeves are also asymmetrical, with one cut longer and lower than the other to create a different fit on each side. This can be seen clearly in the back photo, with the left armhole sitting much lower than the right.
