STORY: I've hung onto this for years and do not want to part with it but it's too hangy on me

It just pulls on and fastens with a velcro tab at the neck

but the size is equivalent to a modern 4 or 6

with that little bit that's undone

Made in England (not Scotland, sorry) in the early 1970s, it's a machine washable (hoorah) acrylic wool mix, unlined, and featuring two huge patch pockets in front, which are just everything. Zip and button in back, and it's gathered in the back only, for an easy hip fit, for comfort and movement, and for the nice flat stomach look. It says size 9, but that's not a size so just see
