The waistband is elastic in the back only. Pockets. Side button closure (1 inside, two outside). There are two repairs: one on the inseam of the left leg (photo 7, closeup in photo 8), and just below on the button closure, but on the inside of the pants (photo 9 with pants unbuttoned, photo 10 shows that you can't see it when the pants are
