90’s Black Silk Taffeta Cocktail Evening Dress By Oscar de la Renta 1960's vintage dress Hem opening - flat -Wonderful black taffeta party dress from Oscar de la Renta features numerous couture design elements: puffy, oversized sleeves pintucked in a harlequin pattern, horizontal pleats across the bodice, a dropped waist, and a two tiered skirt comprising densely gathered pleats. Based on label, we are estimating this to be a 1990s dress; there is also a Neiman Marcus label sewn into the skirt. The fabric is silk taffeta, which give the dress a lot of body.
