These are tall with rubber bottom, a nylon exterior and a felt insert that is removable. They are a mens size 7 however they would work well for a woman. Generally the difference is a 1. 5 size difference. I am an 8 1 2 to 9 and they fit me very well. Lace up with 3 sets of eyelets, drawstring around top, for tightening and keeping the snow out.
