Victorian Checker Maxi Dress under the knee Vintage Victoria Woman plus sizeLovely mid 1800s dress circa 1850s 1860s. It is a light, semi sheer cotton or linen blend. The style leads me to believe it was a house dress or work dress. Hook and eye closures down the front of the bodice. Bodice is boned. Mostly hand sewn. There is a pocket in the skirt! +++ Measurements +++ 33" bust, 21" waist, 60" length from top of back collar to bottom hem. +++ Condition +++ Some of the hooks are loose and there are a few missing at the waist.
