The sleeves button at the wristband. The dress has sleeve headers that are like very small shoulder pads, likely from before the full blown pads came into fashion. There is no closure, it just pulls on over the head. The fabric is polyester with a self pattern in the weave. Made in Australia. Label reads "marc alexander, by Diana
