and suede trim on the front of the waistband adorned with gold-tone "ar"  ornaments

It fastens with a hook at the front and Velcro on the interior of the waistband

The built-in handkerchief neckline snaps into place and hooks in at the left shoulder

It fastens at the left side with a concealed zipper and a button on the waistband

1960s Black Wool Tailored Double-Breasted Coat embroidered The belt itself isn't signedThis early 1960s Cristobal Balenciaga Haute Couture double breasted coat was numbered "91264" and originally sold through Holt Renfrew. It was made in France of black wool with silk lining and two front pockets. It fastens with black enamel buttons. There are minor chips that are very discreet on the sides of a few of the buttons. The coat is otherwise in excellent condition, professionally dry cleaned and ready to wear. Measurements: Bust 34" Waist
