1940s Jersey Tilt Hat with Drape strapless 40s goldtone metal mesh belt1940s tilt hat in a soft rayon jersey that's pleated over the body of the hat and releases in a drape covering the back of the head. Hat is lined in ivory satin with grosgrain trim. There is an elastic band to secure it to the head and the milliners signature is threaded onto the ribbon, looks like "Mme Viola" to me. Hat is in excellent vintage condition and the elastic still has spring.
