The crepe overlay is embellished with thick grosgrain and lace trim on the hem and waistband with appliqué square designs on the skirt in the same fabrics
Overall this is a really unusual piece and presents very well
There is a belt feature in matching ruched chiffon that secures at the reverse with hook-and-eye fastenings

We have referenced Chanel's 1936 design here. This dress is unlabelled although American made and despite extensive research, I have been unable to ascertain who designed this.
