Sleeves are sort of an elongated leg of mutton with snaps at the wrist. There is a row of hooks and eyes down the back but I think these might've been added later as it seems more likely that the gown had an open back. So for the photos I've left them undone. They are not noticeable and can be fastened or unfastened according to your preference. Raglan style shoulders feature smocking
