It is unlined, and has a machine stitched edge. The more closely I look at the fabric, the more I love it. It's probably rayon, with a jacquard brocade weave against a satiny dark brown background. The motifs are vaguely leaflike, vaguely flame inspired, but completely beautiful, in muted shades of raspberry,
