Was probably worn with a belt which would disguise the waist portion

1960s Cherry Red Peignoir Set by Shadowline yellow there is a kick-pleat atLate 50s early 60s nylon chiffon peignoir set by Shadowline. Nightie has lace cap sleeves embroidered yoke. It's lined in tricot for opacity. Robe has balloon half sleeves and a button front closure. Label indicates a size small but due to the roomy fit this should fit a range of sizes. Excellent vintage condition, a few very small picks to the chiffon, not noticeable. Nightie~ Bust: 40" Length: 36" Waist and hip are free Robe~ Length: 37" Sleeve: 16"
