Fastening: metal snap fastenings to the side of the waist

Colour: rose red/pink and deep bluey cranberry red

The pin tucks the bodice and  follow the line of the sleeve to and match on the cuffs and back

The shoulders are smocked adding a delicate detail and the cut is cropped to the waist

This stunning gown must have been incredible in the late 1940s, inspired by Diors new look and in this beautiful pale turquoise eau de nil colour. Designed with a cutaway V neckline, fitted boned bodice and very full seven gore ballgown skirt. Trimmed at the lower hip with a silk velvet band and bow at the back.
