BR Maroon (Pristine) Railfreight VEA Munitions Van #230034 Decoder wife and sheepdog550 of these wagons were converted from former van wides in the late 1970s when BR identified an ongoing need for short wheelbase vans for use in MoD depots. They were used in Speedlink services and in dedicated MoD trains. The first 50 were delivered in BR Maroon, the remainder in Railfreight red grey, with some later painted into RfD distribution grey yellow. This model features fine levels of detailing, separate etched handles and kinematic
