opened in Houston in 1917 and sadly sold in the late 1980s and finally shuttered in 1990
I thought it might be home-made till I found the lying size tag

It's in a crepe fabric that could well be silk, but I cannot be sure, and it's lined in plain off white cotton. No fastenings, no labels.
